Seeds are a versatile hemp product that has no limits to its uses.

Seeds have an ideal ratio of omega 6 to 3 of 3: 1. They are rich in various vitamins (A, B1, B2, B6, C, D, E), fatty acids, protein, chlorophyll, calcium, magnesium, potassium and other trace elements.

Benefits of Hulled Seeds

Hemp fibers and seeds have been used and enjoyed by humans for thousands of years. Hulled Seeds, also known as “hemp hearts”, have their outer shell removed, leaving you with a soft center that is easy to use.

According to some studies, the fatty acids in hemp seeds are beneficial for some skin disorders, heart function, hormonal balance, digestive system, brain function, lowering bad cholesterol, reduce symptoms of menopause and PMS. A large part of the seed mass is a protein composed of amino acids, of which – 9 amino acids are essential.

They are also rich in vitamins A and E, and several minerals essential for a healthy human body. Edible in both forms, the only difference between hulled (whole) hemp seeds and dehulled (shelled) hemp seeds is in the fiber content.

Much of the fiber content is in the hard shells of the seeds. Dehulled hemp seeds thus lose out on the fiber content after shelling.
